The MAXIMIZER SEPARATOR Solution
formerly known as the T-R Separator

The Separator provides excellent solids/liquids separation for either DAIRY or HOG manure. Manure type does not matter. In present installations the separator is removing up to 20 m3 of solids per day in scrape barns and has separated up to 120 m3/h in flush barns. In principle however, the daily operation of the Separator will vary greatly according to the type, density and age of the manure.

The Separator offers stainless steel construction for safe and long lasting operation.  Slow moving components lubricated naturally by wastewater to reduce wear. Completely automatic with special focus on easy operation and safety.

The principle is simple. Hydraulic pressure is applied to manure that is in contact with the surface of the Separator screen.  The manure creates a biological membrane. The membrane forms as a result of mutual attraction of the suspended particles in the manure. The consolidated particles adhere to the screen and seal it off.  Rubber paddles gently wiping over the screen at timed intervals momentarily destroy the membrane and allow the liquid to pass through the screen and leave solids behind. As the paddles move along the screen the solids are carried away allowing the biological membrane to form again. The process then repeats itself over and over. Final dehydration is achieved by the compression of the solids in a squeezer device.
